I hate asking for help, and I also know that’s a problem, so this whole journey has been an exercise for me to let others who want to help me, actually help (but I still don’t like it very much).

As far as the cost of the trip, I have personally paid for that (the trip itself: guides, tea houses, hotels, flights, trekking insurance, medicines, etc). It was expensive, but over a 2 year plan, I’ve figured out a way. I’ve also purchased a ton of cold weather supplies, but as a new trekker, I had nothing in the beginning, and it was expensive just to get the essentials. I have almost everything except clothing.

Because of the extreme cold, and the amount of layers needed, and length of the trip, it’s pretty expensive. But I also want to pay for that myself. I thought about getting a job doing door dash or something like that, but that also takes away the time needed running Rescue Pink. So I thought, what’s a skill you have that you can use? Maybe one time to make some money, and then I thought, I can design some pretty cool shirts. So now, here we are. I’m hoping we can sell enough of these to purchase the rest of what’s needed, plus the cool part is you guys can wear them in November on my Everest Base Camp day as a way of support. I will include a little map of the trek too so you can follow the journey.
